To unite, empower and provide services to outstanding online women writers in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, the Women's Federation of Chongqing Online Writers' Association (COWA) was established in 2020.
The federation, through innovative efforts, has helped women writers realize their value through writing, and it has encouraged the women to inject positive energy into society.
The federation has organized regular online seminars and lectures about the relationship between online literature and the spirit of the times. It has also held salons, so women writers can read classical books together, and so they can share their writing experiences offline.
The federation has held training courses on writing skills and laws on copyright, and it has promoted the exchanges among COWA members through online and offline chat groups.
The federation has also provided psychological guidance and family issue consulting services to women writers.
