Women's federations of rural live streamers were established in all 64 counties in Central China's Hubei Province by the end of September 2025. Combined, 5,102 women live streamers have joined the federations.
The county-level women's federations were established in associations of e-commerce industries and "we media" (non-institutional content providers on social-media platforms) and in e-commerce industrial parks.
The federations organized 322 training sessions on live-streaming skills, e-commerce operations and brand building.
More than 18,000 people attended the training sessions. Women's federations of live streamers in Jingzhou, a city in Hubei, have held 1,500 live-streaming events since 2024, during which more than 10 million yuan (US $1.41 million) worth of rural products were sold.
