Chongqing (in Southwest China) Women's Federation recently launched an initiative to empower women in innovation and entrepreneurship with artificial intelligence (AI).
The federation plans to build a multidimensional-collaboration network that integrates the strengths of colleges, business platforms and the financial and media sectors. The network will provide resources, including funding, technologies and favorable policies, to women.
The federation will help cultivate new, AI-based business forms, especially related to industries in which women have advantages, such as education, domestic services and e-commerce.
The federation will also help women entrepreneurs connect with professionals, who have rich resources and who pursue shared, innovative development.
The federation will empower women's innovation and entrepreneurship, in an all-round way, through technical guidance, resource matching and information-sharing services. Startup competitions will be held to select promising businesswomen.
The federation and Chongqing Association for Science and Technology released 50 typical cases of AI-empowered women's sci-tech innovation, involving areas of digital and intelligent technologies, biological manufacturing, health, intelligent agriculture, low-carbon development and new materials.
