Hunan Women's Federation (in Central China) in early March released 10 measures to support women entrepreneurs across the province. The measures aim to provide comprehensive, targeted support and services, to help women entrepreneurs develop their firms in pursuing Hunan's high-quality development.
The measures focus on building platforms for skills enhancement and promoting enterprise transformation and upgrading.
The measures require women's federations, at the provincial, city and county levels, to establish contact with women entrepreneurs, gather women's suggestions and respond to their needs, through online and offline channels, and coordinate with relevant departments and social resources to provide assistance. The measures also require lectures be provided to women-led enterprises, to help the firms strengthen management capabilities and foster innovation.
The measures also promote collaboration between women entrepreneurs and women university students. Such collaboration includes pairing women entrepreneurs with students, to facilitate two-way empowerment, through internships, and employment guidance and career planning. The measures also include care initiatives, including offering professional counseling focused on the mental, physical and family well-being of entrepreneurs. Efforts will also be made to promote the global expansion of Hunan's enterprises.
The measures also call for protecting the rights and interests of women entrepreneurs, and creating a secure environment for the women's development.
