The All-China Women's Federation, People's Bank of China and the National Financial Regulatory Administration recently issued guidelines on strengthening fnancial support for women's employment and development.
The guidelines call for more financial support for the building of startup incubators, and for other startup platforms. The guidelines also call for policies on guaranteed loans for entrepreneurship initiatives to be improved, and for counter-guarantee conditions for women entrepreneurs, with good credit, to either be reduced or removed.
The guidelines encourage insurance institutions to promote special insurance policies covering women's diseases, including breast, cervical and ovarian cancers. The guidelines call for social insurance security systems to be improved, and for the support of innovations in providing insurance for flexibly employed women. The guidelines also urge the effective connection between commercial insurance and maternity insurance to be strengthened.
To facilitate the issuance of credit loans, the guidelines urge the optimization of credit assessments of women-led business entities, by integrating information from taxation, industry and commerce authorities, and women's federations, based on credit-market-service platforms.
