To help women cope with health challenges during five special periods in their lives, Wuhan (capital of Central China's Hubei Province) Women's Federation launched a women's healthcare services project in March 2026.
The five periods in life are: puberty, pregnancy, child birth, breastfeeding and menopause.
To date, more than 30 service stations have been built, in various districts in Wuhan, and more than 3,000 women have received services.
The project's services cover art, sports, reading, crafts, medical care and traditional culture. Each month, Wuhan Women's Federation releases the service list online so the women can apply to participate in their preferred activities.
After the activities, the federation hands out questionnaires to and/or calls the participants to obtain their feedback.
