In recent years, 6,098 women's federations have been established in more than 20 emerging industries, including delivery, e-commerce and domestic services, in Ganzhou, a city in East China's Jiangxi Province.
Women's federations of village-based livestreamers have been established in 18 counties in the city.
The federations have helped women solve practical problems, and helped women participate in grassroots governance.
To regulate federations in emerging fields, Ganzhou Women's Federation has drawn up working standards and systems, and it has dispatched more than 40 instructors to guide grassroots federations' work.
The municipal federation has also established 22 community-based, domestic-service stations, where domestic workers have received skills training and services, such as psychological and family education guidance.
Many women couriers and ride-hailing drivers have joined the city's women volunteers' alliance. They have participated in safety checks in communities, and they have helped people coping with difficulties.
