| Women's federations and government departments, at the city or district levels, in Zhangjiajie, a city in Central China's Hunan Province, have organized several free skills-training session in Tujia brocade making in recent years. The courses have fostered the protection and inheritance of Tujia brocade, and they have enabled local women to find employment near their homes.
