Growth Camp of 2025 Spring Bud Girls' Healthy Growth Project Launched in Nanchang

 2025-08-28

An opening ceremony for a growth camp under the Spring Bud Girls' Healthy Growth public welfare project was jointly held by the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) and sportswear brand Anta Sports in Nanchang, capital city of East China's Jiangxi Province, on August 17.

CCTF Secretary-General Li Zhongming, Qian Yun, President of Jiangxi Women's Federation, and Li Ling, Vice-President of Anta Sports, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Liu Li, Vice-President of Jiangxi Women's Federation, chaired the event.

The opening ceremony also drew the attendance of three women's football teams with 65 players and their coaches from Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Southwest China's Guizhou and Jiangxi.

Li Zhongming hoped the girls will fully demonstrate the spirit of perseverance, teamwork and unity, gain friendship, make progress together, and strive to be useful for the hometown and the society.

Qian said the growth camp is not only a football training camp but also a spiritual journey for cultivating virtues and promoting moral education.

Li Ling said Anta Sports will further deepen its cooperation with the CCTF, provide more opportunities for girls to obtain knowledge and broaden horizons, and help them to become more confident and courageous on the journey ahead.

During the six-day camp event, the girls are expected to take part in friendly football matches, receive professional guidance, and bolster their football competence. In addition, they will visit Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Hall, Jiangxi Science and Technology Museum, Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang Relic Museum for Haihun Principality of Han Dynasty, embarking on a journey of learning, friendship and growth.

The CCTF and Anta Sports jointly rolled out the project in October 2024 to create more educational and sports development opportunities for girls across 31 provincial regions in China. To date, the project has provided scholarships to 300 girl university students and 300 girl high school students in 12 provincial regions, and delivered material support to more than 10,000 Spring Bud girls nationwide.
