China Women's Development Foundation (CWDF) on August 1 launched a family health management promotion project in Beijing.
The project is being sponsored by China Life Foundation, and supported by China Family Education Society. The project is aimed at enhancing families' health management competence, and at strengthening the promotion of healthy families.
Various promotional activities, to help the public understand family health management and prevention and control of common diseases, will be conducted nationwide. The project will also promote integration of health management into family education practices.
During the project's launch, representatives of community-level women's federations, grassroots medical workers, volunteers and families from the project-covered regions called on the public to follow healthy lifestyles, and to contribute to the Healthy China Initiative.
