CCTF Named Model Organization at 2025 China Charity Gala

 2026-01-23

The China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) was named a model organization of the year at the 2025 China Charity Gala in Beijing on January 8.

The event, hosted by the China Philanthropist magazine, drew the attendance of scholars and experts from the philanthropic and charitable sector, and representatives of relevant institutions, charity-minded enterprises and individuals. They held talks about the development achievements of the philanthropic and charitable cause in the past year.

The selection and appraisal work began on November 10, 2025. It eventually chose honorees of 12 lists in four categories of individuals, industries, enterprises and cities after professional evaluation and public voting.

In 2025, the CCTF stayed committed to its original aspirations and the fundamental task of nurturing virtue through education, and rallied public support for the further development of the children-oriented philanthropic and charitable affairs.

The CCTF registered the total public welfare revenue of 391 million yuan (US $55.86 million) and its total expenditure reached 372 million yuan (US $53.14 million) in 2025, delivering tangible benefits to over three million children and families.

More specifically, the CCTF further deepened the implementation of the Spring Bud Project — Dream of Future Action, providing educational assistance to over 100,000 girls living in difficulties in the three areas and three prefectures (referring to the Xizang Autonomous Region and Tibetan-inhabited regions in Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, and Yunnan, as well as Liangshan in Sichuan, Nujiang in Yunnan, and Linxia in Gansu) and key counties receiving assistance for rural revitalization.

The CCTF responded to the core development needs of left-behind and migrant children, strengthened the building and operation of the Sunshine Station, the Happy Home for Children and other service platforms, and provided the public with services in relation to children's protection, psychological counseling and family education guidance.

The CCTF distributed 30,000 sets of Hello Kids parcels of studying and living necessities as well as emergency supplies to children. It also rolled out maternal and infant health care service program to better guard the health rights of mothers and infants.

The CCTF launched emergency response to natural disasters, raised 27.66 million yuan (US $3.95 million) of funding and materials for disaster-affected children and their families, and protected the healthy growth of children with professional charitable services.
