Supporting Women's Development in New Organizations, Employment Groups

 2026-04-02

As a result of Wuxi Women's Federation's efforts, in recent years, approximately 15,000 women's federations have been established in more than 20,000 new economic and social organizations in Wuxi, a city in East China's Jiangsu Province.

The federations have helped promote women's career development, and they have provided warm services to women.

The Women's Federation of Wuxi's Human Resources Industry has organized special job fairs, skills training and its employees have provided paired-up assistance to women in need.

Its services have benefited more than 8,000 women job seekers. The Women's Federation of Wuxi's Domestic Service Industry has helped train 8,400 professional housekeepers.

The Women's Federation of Rongrui Family Psychological Health Education Center, in Liangxi, a district in Wuxi, has trained members of executive committees of grassroots women's federations in helping people solve family disputes through psychological guidance. Also, the members have become more qualified in performing their duties in social governance.

Wuxi Women's Federation and the city's maternal- and infant-care hospital have provided free medical checkups and health consultations to women in new employment groups, including delivery workers and online ride-hailing drivers, at women's health-service stations.

The stations are based in enterprises, public institutions and women's federations of certain industries.
