Yan xiyun is a researcher at the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), academician of CAS, and professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Yan put forward the new concept of nanozymes for the first time internationally, which was considered as a landmark event in the history of enzymology. She founded the Female and Biophysical Beauty forum and the Biophysical Women Scientists Branch, providing a platform for the communication between female scientific and technological workers.
