The All-China Women's Federation, the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, China's Supreme People's Court and 13 central government departments recently issued a notice urging relevant departments and organizations (across the country) to implement the Campaign of "Bringing Love to the Children."
The campaign is encouraging various organizations across the country to provide caring services to children, so the children can enjoy a safe and wonderful winter vacation.
This year, 2026, marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March.
The notice stresses the departments and organizations should strengthen minors' moral standards and implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. Activities, centering on the theme "Children are always of one heart with the Party," are being organized in patriotic education bases, and the children are being guided to inherit the "red genes."
The notice also urges the departments and organizations to protect children's safety. To help raise children's legal literacy and self-protection awareness, the departments and organizations are being urged to hold education sessions focusing on laws involving the protection of minors. They are also being encouraged to teach children how to avoid fire, traffic accidents, cyberspace risks and other threats to safety.
The notice also suggests the departments and organizations should make good use of the talent-cultivation mechanism that highlights tripartite collaboration among families, schools and the community. Parent-child reading activities, and a campaign highlighting parents' obligations in family education, are being organized.
The notice also urges the departments and organizations to give special care to children coping with difficulties. Grassroots workers have been asked to provide assistance to children based on their needs. Volunteers have been encouraged to offer companionship and psychological guidance to children whose parents work elsewhere and/or work in new employment groups.
